Who we are
New England Card Buyers ("we", "us") buys sports card, Pokemon and trading card collections in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. This page explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the terms that apply when you use the site. Questions can be sent to buyer@cardbuyersne.com.
What we collect
- Evaluation requests. When you submit the evaluation form we receive the details you enter (collection category, estimated value, size, timeline, your name, email address, optional phone number and note) together with the photos or files you attach.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to keep the site secure and available. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data about how visitors use the site.
How we use it
We use evaluation requests for one purpose: to evaluate your collection and contact you about it by email or phone. We do not sell, rent or share your information with marketers, and we do not send newsletters or promotional email.
Photos and files you send
Attachments are delivered to our evaluation team as email attachments. They pass through a private, encrypted transfer area for the few minutes needed to build that email and are deleted automatically immediately afterwards. We do not publish, resell or use your photos for anything other than evaluating your collection. Photos taken on a phone are resized in your browser before upload, which also removes embedded camera and location metadata.
In the rare case that email delivery fails, your request and attachments are kept in a restricted, encrypted storage area for up to 180 days so that we can still respond to you, and are then deleted.
Service providers
The site runs on Amazon Web Services (hosting, secure file transfer and email function), uses SendGrid (Twilio) to deliver email, Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam, and, when enabled, Google Analytics for anonymised visit statistics. Each provider processes data only to deliver its service to us.
Retention and your choices
Emails about your request are kept in our business mailbox for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and meet our record-keeping obligations. You can ask us at any time to delete your request and any photos you sent by writing to buyer@cardbuyersne.com. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on Google provides.
Security
All traffic to this site is encrypted (HTTPS). File transfers and email functions run inside a private cloud environment with access limited to the systems that need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we follow current industry practice to protect what you send us.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Sales of collections are conducted with the legal owner or their authorised representative.
Terms of use
- An evaluation is a free, non-binding opinion of value based on the information and photos you provide. It is not a formal appraisal for insurance, tax or legal purposes.
- Any offer we make is subject to in-person inspection of the collection and may be revised if the items differ from what was described or shown.
- By submitting a request you confirm that you own the collection or are authorised to sell it, and you agree that we may contact you by email or phone about your request.
- The content of this website is provided for general information and may change without notice. We are not responsible for the content of external sites we link to.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
